Gallery stairs are ladder-style stairs, often available as movable leaning versions, and are commonly used for galleries and intermediate levels such as mezzanines. They require very little space and are easy to install. By extending the side handrails up to balustrade height, access at the top becomes much easier. Gallery stairs are available as leaning, sliding or fixed versions, and you can choose from different types of wood and surface finishes.
