Modern folded plate staircase

In a duplex apartment, an aging, unstable central stringer staircase was at the center of the renovation plans. The existing structure not only appeared visually outdated but also no longer conveyed a sense of safety when used. The goal of the project was to create a modern, stable, and visually compelling solution that meets the highest functional and aesthetic standards.

As a specialist company focused on staircases, we carefully analyzed the on-site situation in detail. In an intensive consultation with the client, we presented various options for a staircase replacement – from construction and material selection to railing and surface design. Safety, durability, and a harmonious overall appearance were the key priorities. The multi-angled wall layout posed a particular challenge, requiring precise planning.

The final decision was made for a modern, white lacquered folded plate staircase with an elegant flat steel railing. Thanks to precise laser measurements and careful planning, the new staircase was adapted to the existing, multi-angled wall. This resulted in a custom-made solution that integrates seamlessly into the existing building structure. The clean lines of the folded plate construction give the space a timeless, architectural character.

With the replacement of the old central stringer staircase, not only was a technical problem resolved – a completely new spatial experience was also created visually.
