When a family grows, so does the need for more space. Our clients therefore decided to convert the attic of their terraced house in the city – creating around 55 m² of additional, valuable living space.

The challenge: creating a comfortable connection to the upper floor without losing unnecessary space in the existing living area. The solution was our patented space-saving staircase, which was integrated in a corner next to the existing stairway in a space-efficient way.

With a footprint of just 130 x 130 cm, this type of staircase impresses with maximum efficiency combined with high comfort. The centrally positioned handrail ensures a comfortable and safe ascent, while the open construction adds transparency and lightness to the space – ideal for modern living concepts.

Visually, the new staircase blends in harmoniously as well: materials and design were precisely matched to the existing interior. The result looks as if the staircase had always been part of the house.

Unused attic space was transformed into a fully functional living area – connected by a well-thought-out staircase solution that perfectly combines design, functionality, and space efficiency. More space. More comfort. More home.
